1. My purpose is through an experience of listening to music with headphone ofr a period of time----and have some trouble with it-----then begin researching the argument: the sound produced by headphones. The audience of this paper is college students and those people who use headphones. To develope the essay, my strategy is find the problem---know what is the problem----and how to solve the problem. And after the draft, i add more "my words" into the paper to explain more about the "site words" and express my opinion more.
2.I provide my own experience to pull the argument out, and through the research i know the problem and which is a clear path. Although i still need to explain more arguments in order to connect the essay.
3. I think istill need to point out the argument clearer at the begining not "start" to tell the argument at the middle of the essay. I still need to do better work on the grammar mistake. I needs to add more conclusion at the end of the essay, and avoid using strange sentences and words.

The Song Decoders By Rob Walker
What activity does the writer has to engage in creating the text?
The writer engage in the activtiy of sitting at computers and listening to songs, and rating those songs element by element.
Then the author developed an idea which is" your music consumption habits are partly shaped by the curtural information that Pandora largely screens out. And is it really possible to seperate music taste from mutiple social factors?"
I think the writer is putting the studies and tests to the Pandora to find out the writer's musical taste. And then the result is connected to the social factors(like peer relations). Then he got an idea which is part of what we liek is based on the cultural information. And the personality characteristics are associated with the kind of music that people like. And it is also connected with larger factors.
The mechanism of the decoder makes people to test it, then the process of testing the Pandora is being arranged to the idea that -----what we like is partly based on the cultural information.
I think the writer is trying to argue that the factor we love music is not based on ourselves but it is more based on the people around us---they make influence on us, and many other factors that around us. He wants to argue that those factors are still not enough to explain the reason that why we will "like" a type of music or a song.
The wiriter provides an example about the genome that Westergren has developed tons of methods to pay attention. The problem is there are too many songs in the world so it will be a big big work to analyze .

WRA: The Struggle to Be an All-American Girl by Elizabeth Wong
Who is Elizabeth Wong?
Elizabeth Wong is a playwright and TV writer who grew up in chinatown in LA. She educated at the USC(1980) and NYU(1991) and she has worked as a reporter and taught in the theater department at Bowdoin College.
After looking at Carrie's essay "White Buds on an apple tree", what are some similar "moves" that this writer is making in her essay?
Wong also had some very-detailed description on her chinese school experience. And she also use several little stories that happened on her family members. And she had her thesis at the end of the essay that she prefers "English" more than "Chinese".
How does she begin this essay(intro)? How does she end the essay(conclusion)?
She begins the essay with telling the audience the chinese school which her and her brother used to go. She describe an old but familiar scene to begin telling people her past experience with the chinese school. At the end, she use "sadly, i still am" to make the conclusion that she is still an All-American girl. She is not " one of them".
How do we know for sure that Wong regrets her assimilation into American culture?Be specific.
There is one which is very obvious at the end of the essay:" At last, i was one of you, I wasn't one of them. Sadly, i still am." Although Wong went to the chinese school to learn chinese in order to get multiculture experiences, however, the american culture had deeply affected her life, her opnion and especially her language. It is very sad that the daughter does not speak the same language as her parents do. I think the reason she feels regret is that she had totally lost the inheritage of languages from her parents.
